As you may have noticed these days, it has become all the rage to play the “victim”.
It’s a very interesting trend.
It’s as though everyone is running around the all day trying to find the next person or group of people to be attack, someone or something to blame for all the misery they experience. As if they could somehow just change one law or deprive another community of its free speech that their life would suddenly become a fairy tale. Nothing helps kick the IDLE into gear like the death of an IDOL. Look at that, a clever little play on words. Hence, the first entry in this blog.
George Carlin died yesterday…and despite the fact that this guy was old as shit and on all sorts of hard drugs most his life, many of us still have the gall to feel shocked by his death and will label it as”untimely” in our memory banks. “Untimely” as in “too soon” as if the best years of his life had not come yet, as if his best work was on its way.
